Variable game speed just came into my mind.
Since the game gets boring after initial expansion,
double the speed for second half of the game.

I need a slow world so I can play and do my real job, without having to worry about some kid or something from another timezone messing me up.

How about 10 min per day? That would be... 6 Months per Day

You can only do so much in one game day and 5min/day is perfect for me

That's probably the best one. Not to fast but not to long.

I would like to see 1 minute, 2 minute, 3 minute days.
I think there is more widespread appeal with faster times because the players get to see progression and results more readily.
There is still a place for longer days but I will certainly enjoy shorter days much more.

Maybe 5 minutes would be good. But I agree, fast progression is for people who only have few days to play and off.

Per Month Avg 30 days correction istead of 24 days so that a game day will be of 24 minutes.
They won't ever do that. 24 days was chosen because it streamlines coding and makes games faster. If R0 and R1 went in the same date as our year, you could expect playing in the same world, beginning to end, for about 15 real time months and 1 real time year respectively as opposed to 7 real time months and 9 real time months respectively. To make a comparison, if R0 and R1 both reset and started right now, R0 would go until the beginning of my freshman year (~a year from now), and R1 would end by the time I'd turn 15, and it'd be Christmas time.
Need to recheck route demand, i think that is too low for 2000-2030 game. If possible dynamic passenger demand at 5 years interval will be better idea.
And I think the route demand for any world that starts in the 50s, sixties, and R2 is too high. ****ing deal with it.
