#291140 Livery size

Posted by da_Master_Airliner on 07 November 2022 - 09:20 PM in New Players and Questions

Hello everyone, I’m new here and I have a question. When I select the photo for the livery of my airline, the game loads it but in a bad way, I mean the airplane looks too long and not realistic. Do you know why and any solution? Thanks

it is probably because the images are resized to fit the image size the game wants.

#291117 demand in sweden?

Posted by da_Master_Airliner on 04 November 2022 - 06:17 PM in General AE Discussion

good to know about malmo, thanks. also i was going to use the open skies, but it doesnt open for another 6 years or so in my world.

one quick thing about malmo though. It's doesn't have as much demand as Stockholm. So smaller flights only from that airport. (think domestically and some close international flights)

#291114 Which aircraft is the most efficient?

Posted by da_Master_Airliner on 04 November 2022 - 05:25 PM in New Players and Questions

Why do people use A320 or B737 a lot instead of tu-214? I don't know why they use the more expensive B737 or A320 even though the difference in fuel consumption is not big

As others have pointed out, the Tu-214 and other Russian-made aircraft aren't the most efficient carrier for its size. So unless people are strictly operating an airline during the cold war in Russia, they usually will go for more efficient Airbus, Boeing or sometimes Bombardier and Embraer jets.

Early 1950's (1950-1955) : DC-6, L-1649, B377, and for starting VC-1 Viking (you just need 20 vikings, after that better move to larger airplanes). Ambassador and Viscount may be considered too.

Late 1950's (1955-1960) : DC-7 all variants, Britannia, 707-120/320B/C, DC8-20

Early 1960's (1960-1965) : 707-320, 727-100, DC8-50, CL44. Tu-114 can be considered too.

Late 1960's (1965-1970) : Probably still 707-320, 727-200, 737-200, 747-100, DC8-50/61/62, CL44.

1970's : 727-200/adv, 737-200/adv, 747-100/200B/C, A300B4, DC10, L1011

1980's : Still all mentioned in 1970's + 737-300/400, 747-300/400/400D, 757-200, All 767 variants, A300-600/600R, A310 all variants, A320, MD81, MD83. Can be considered too is Tu-154M and BAE146.

1990's : All mentioned in 1980's + A330 all variants, A340-300/300E, B737-500/700/800, 777-200/200ER, MD11. Can be considered too Avro RJ series and Fokker 100

2000's : All mentioned in 1980 and 1990's + 737-700ER/900ER & A380. Can be considered too is 777-200LR, 300, 300ER, and Embraer 170/190 series.

2010's : All mentioned in 1990's and 2000's + 737MAX, 747-8, 787-8/9/10, A330-800/900, A319/20/21NEO/LR, A350-900/1000. Can be considered too is C919, A220 and Embraer E2 series.

Above is a good thing to follow. Except some aircraft from the 80s (767s, A320 family, and 757s) Those continue in production all the way up until the late 2010s and even are still built today. So you can capitalize on these aircrafts as well as operate newer craft as well.

Whatever your preference though.

#291113 demand in sweden?

Posted by da_Master_Airliner on 04 November 2022 - 05:14 PM in General AE Discussion

hey people, so i was wondering, for those of you that have managed airlines based in sweden, what airports were you able to use as suitable hubs? i already have gothenburg and stockholm, and was wondering if there were any others.

Other than Malmo - Sturup (MMX), and the ones you already have, there is no other airport that could have enough demand suitable for a hub.

If you want, there is an open skies agreement that the EU has had ever since 2000 or so. Meaning you could open new hubs in other EU member countries (like Norway, Finland, Germany, Poland, etc) and fly to anywhere from those places as long as it is in the EU.

Good, hopefully they will remove Tempelhof and Tegel.

they probably won't. Especially how in these were the airports before brandenburg.

plus the game is really dead

Lore:

Panama Airways is a low-cost carrier based in Panama City. The airline was founded in 2016 by several friends that wanted to create an airline with cheap fares in Panama. The airline currently operates 12 A320NEOs. 4 in each color. With Blue standing for the beautiful Caribbean, green for the tropical rainforests of Panama, and orange for the rising sun. The airline also flies to over 20 destinations in the Caribbean and up to the US and down to South America. In 2020, the airline saw some problems with demand to the Caribbean dropping due to covid-19. But the airline survived and the airline is now growing and even planning to add routes to more destinations and more aircraft in the fleet.

Posted by da_Master_Airliner on 06 October 2022 - 07:01 PM in Applications

lmao check article III

http://www.airline-e...liance-charter/

also as the only active member of Worldwide, you sure you wanna do this?

Sorry for the in-activity, I have been doing so much stuff for college that I couldn't log on.

Airline Name: Ryanair

Logo:

ae3s4b_21.jpg

Country/HQ: Dublin, Ireland
Hubs / Focus Cities: LGW, PMI, PDL and ARN
Current Fleet: 737-800, 737-900ER, Q400, A319-100LR
Why Join Worldwide?: I would like to join Worldwide as I want to interact with people with similar interests. I also think the current Ryanair route map will help expand operations, therefore bolstering Worldwide operations

Question: Are there any requirement for IFS and reputation?

As zipp said above, the alliance charter says everything about that.

If you are still interested in joining, we can go ahead and start voting on your application.

#290474 Older World Starting Dates

Posted by da_Master_Airliner on 28 May 2022 - 05:00 PM in Suggestions and Feature Requests

Since currently the oldest world resets to about 1955 and the game already has older planes like the DC-3, DC-4, Boeing 307, and Martin 2-0-2 that go unused, would it be a fun idea for one of the Realistic Worlds to reset to the late 30's, like 1937? That way it wouldn't be too long before aircraft development takes off.

If Yuxi or anyone is reading this,

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!!!

:)

this is a good idea. sounds be a good idea!  :D

they probably wouldn't do this. but it's a cool idea!

I love it. I am flying the DC-9-30s and DC-9-40s for now(though slowly replacing them with MD-81s shortly). And I'm likely to do 707s sometime on a future server. Thank you so much. I didn't have a logo in mind, but that'll do quite fine. Much appreciated!

your welcome
