take a look at this article: http://www.airline-e...-agreements-r13
Until 2000, you will only be able to open routes originating or ending in France since your airline is based in France. However, after 2000, you'll be able to open routes between any of the two countries in the EU Open Skies Agreement (see the link above).

Missing one: Use tools in Chrome to change aircraft data in the system to make it easier to use certain fleet types.
I'd like to ask for proof that this is possible, considering that I'm pretty sure that AE is mostly server-side and thus client-side edits won't affect gameplay at all.

Never start at LHR, JFK, or LAX. Just don't even think about it.
obviously, it depends on your size and timing. on my only (currently operating) airline (in S3-A), LHR was my first international destination. I also entered LAX many years after the game world started (maybe 10 years?); other airlines were already well-established there, but it's currently my most profitable destination. If you're big enough, you can probably enter any huge airport unless a big spamline has set up shop there (you can still enter, but you'll be forced to create long-haul routes). Also, if you're early enough and you have time to change prices on your routes, you can definitely enter a big airport.

Hub and spoke > point to point
jetBlue has no hubs, only operating bases.
why

You know, Northern , you really broke the game. Did you move the fares up to 2017 numbers before changing the aircraft leases to 2017 numbers? If not, that explains alot. If you did change both numbers to 2017 numbers, my apologies.
Irks me that you have such poor data management and didn't make the base ticket prices and leases rise together. That is data management 101. Come on!
My previous points in this thread about recoding the game still stands, but I seriously think you made it worse.
Like seriously, why are you a DC anymore? You are never active 99% and then you come back after 6-12 months do stupid stuff like this. Its time for you to go or get a reeducation.
This is going to cause a proliferation of spamliners, rather than keeping them at bay. People are going to have to max out hours to make any profit on certain routes. I'm seeing that in my tests in the sandbox world.
it's almost hilarious that time after time, you continue to attack the AE staff even though the game is free and is already pretty good
also, here's an unrelated question: you've continued to make unsubstantiated (at least AFAIK) claims that this game is easily exploitable using client-side tools. may we see some evidence of this?

LOL! I can make 400 PLUS DOLLARS OFF A 3 STAR IFS! And Pasti, I'm copying you, criticizing you for having a worse IFS.

Niiiice. Even as someone who was (and still is, just not nearly as much) special needs, that's honestly ****ing hilarious.
Regardless, you're being a bit immature. Just lurk more and stop blowing stuff out of proportion. So people are ordering aircraft past the end date of a world, big ****ing deal. It affects noone in the long term besides the buyer (or leaser) of said aircraft.
Like if you're going to complain this much about petty s*** that doesn't even matter, I think the feminist section of Tumblr would be a nice fit for you.
um, actually, i'm pretty sure he thought that aircraft manufacturers had a true backlog (i.e. only one airline gets a certain plane per week or day or something) and he thought that if somebody ordered a bunch of aircraft, nobody else could get that aircraft

Sorry to bump this topic, but I'm having the same problem too (1100+ idle aircraft, includes a ton of regional aircraft that I should definitely not have ordered). I can set up long-haul routes, but any routes that are within regional plane range can't be set up. I'm not a spamliner, I just ordered a lot of planes and didn't have time to schedule routes for them.

Not quite.
You can overlap the 737 Classic and Jurassic models .......they have separate production lines.
Douglas Aircraft and McDonald Douglas share the same production line even though they are listed as 2 separate aircraft manufactures.
There is no other example of this in the game that I know of and I think at one time they did not share the same production line during this timeline starting in 1985.
That caught me by surprise and if I had know this I would not have ordered any DC-9s.......because that prevents you from ordering the superior MD-80 line.
There's a good reason for this. The MD-80 family was based off of the DC-9 (https://en.wikipedia...l_Douglas_MD-80), so it does make some sense to place the DC-9 and MD-80 on the same production line. (Personally, I don't think they should be placed on the same production line so long as the 737NG, 737C, and 737J aircraft are in separate families.)

Yeah this seems like a problem that effects large airlines, but only some of them. At least having a large airline seems to be the common denominator for now. Would any of y'all consider significantly downsizing one of your airlines to see if the problem persists? If it doesn't then it's something else.
That's probably the problem (after I sold some of my regional aircraft w/ ranges of 1000+ mi, I could schedule routes that were around 1000+ mi), but I noticed that I could schedule short regional routes even when I couldn't schedule longer, non-regional routes (e.g. JFK to FLL).
