#41057 Viper Sting Airlines - looking for Allience

Posted by Reno on 12 October 2006 - 09:55 PM in Alliances

Now, Most Alliances require a minimum DOP for 1mil, and thats for a large number. Another thing is that you will also need a large fleet, and a good amount of time spent building your empire. All I can say is that most Alliances will look past this post, and look over you. My advice to become an alliance canidate is to build up, and build up strong.

#38214 Use of a hub?

Posted by Reno on 30 August 2006 - 09:18 AM in Game Discussion (SIM2)

Hahaha well that's true :) , but only if you fly with big planes (like 737 or Airbus) to it :)

I dunno, my RNO hub made alot of money using Q4's and 2000's last round..... Then again with half of the destinations out of RNO being under 600nm, an A319 would not make a good profit on a route that takes 1.5hrs roundtrip.

As for Hub Costs, make sure you have a DOP over 1.5mil to make sure you can make it over that "Hub Cost" bill they send you each month.

#39130 U.S. Gates - There are none left!

Posted by Reno on 11 September 2006 - 06:33 PM in Game Discussion (SIM2)

This is where the men are separated from the boys. The strong will survive and the weak will perish...

LOL!!!!

Okay, I have some advice for our young grasshopper. When month change happens, which is Midnight GMT *4pm PST* hang around the gates page, some airlines will lose gates, which go back to the gates page, pick some up there.

#35006 This is insane

Posted by Reno on 13 June 2006 - 07:51 AM in Game Discussion (SIM2)

It is much harder to control routes now, than it was, um, 5 weeks ago. in the US , the only way to go is toward a much bigger aircraft on a much shorter route. A380 on RNO - SJC or SAC seems unlikely, but with that, I can crush the fast competition.

Its all a game, which I enjoy to play.

#35700 Strange Route....

Go Low!

Depending on your hardware, lowering the ticket price will make your profit go higher, always does that for me.

#41575 Still alot of Fun!

I mean, sure, we all have our opinion about the game, our own rivalries. But the fun, is still there. I mean, seriously.

Its automatic, everything is moved already into your new terminal.

#37718 Saab 340

Posted by Reno on 23 August 2006 - 07:12 AM in Suggestions and Feature Requests

The Saab 340 and Metro 3 would be nice additions I would like to see into this game. Most airlines could use more airliners in the 19 - 37 seat range, low hourly cost, and a bit of range.

#38327 Replacing little a/c with big a/c

Posted by Reno on 31 August 2006 - 06:36 PM in Game Discussion (SIM2)

I would agree. the D328P, 2000, and Q4 would be the best choice for prop networks/routes under 600nm.

RenoExpress Builds Terminal at SNA

As several aircraft arrive and depart at the "Altoid Superion" Terminal *last time we let 3rd graders name terminals* It has become clear that RenoExpress's investment at SNA, is well paid off. Though not even a major hub for RenoExpress, It is projected to become a major traffic center for RenoExpress flights, in the next few months.

Thats true, since our new colors, we have had an increase of women commuters into the bay area, so we have had an increase of about 30pct into the bay area traffic. A recent survey said that most men dont care. Anyway, I might make it a bit darker, or something.....

IM NOT DEAD YET!!!!

RenoExpress is still vastly growing on its routes. With more advanced aircraft replacing props, RenoExpress is vastly making up for lost time on its network, rather than mass expansion. RenoExpress hopes to move into the Top 100 Soon.

RenoExpress Acquires OC Air

Santa Ana, California -

RenoExpress has just appeared with the usual briefcase of money, to buy out small airline OC Air. With this deal complete RenoExpress can expand service around Santa Ana, as well as to other airports. With 2 gates at OC Air, as well as a CRJ-200, Saab 2000, and a J-31 RenoExpress has seen this as a good deal worth grasping. The change will be featured as soon as possible.

RenoExpress Acquires Airbus A319's

After months of waiting RenoExpress has received their second Airbus A-319, the first one was bought on market, at a good rate. RenoExpress will soon implement more A-319 aircraft on routes in their network, and beyond!

just another reminder people, IM NOT DEAD!!!!!
