What are the benifits of starting a hub?  It seems like your cost just double. I've heard that you get connecting pax but I've gotten those via an alliance. So what are the advantages of opening a hub?

Also anything thing I noticed is that if you add routes, the game does not calculate your legroom, which will remain at zero. After adding your flights, do click save as it increases your route reputation and sometimes improve your profits when your plane has connecting passengers. That is also one of the reasons why I play on mobile as after every route, you will have to click save, and the desktop version may come out to be a bit slow. Or what I also do is I cast the airports that I want to fly to on my computer via Browse Airports tab, and I will fill in the routes via my phone.


This may be due to your airline being small, and have not hit the point where there is a lot of connecting passengers. However, it is still a good idea to save it as to ensure that you’re routes are updated, and will not mess up when your airline is big in the future. But don’t do it’s for every flight, only do it for planes which are not full.

One last glitch I noticed is the part where if you sell an aircraft, the slots of the airport that you fly to will get very corrupted and come out with random numbers. Once, I had an airport with 2 gates but only 87 slots available after I emptied out the airport. Another time, I had 100 gates in my terminal, and when I was about to sell all my aircraft to sell my terminals, my terminal had 6236 gates available.

Demand can drop or increase while making changes. Competitors may also be making changes as you are. In addition, you are affecting your router reputation negatively by removing a frequency.

OK. But I've had this happen on route where I didnt change the frequency and have no competition. Once I accidentally hit the reset button any I lost 50k even though nothing changed. Not even the price. 

I've been noticing this glitch where sometimes I'll add 1 frequency to a route and my profit will go down by a lot so I remove the frequency and my profit drops even more. Why does this happen shouldnt my profit go back to the way it was?

In the world I'm playing it its taking an order of 747SP I purchased after they where released 8 months to arrive instead of 8 weeks. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Actually it is. IRL some airlines get the max utilization out of there fleet. Just happens to be 20 hrs in AE and 10 IRL. Same concept though. By your definition most IRL LCC are spamliners.

Its not bitching it's voicing a concern that people have with the game. This is an issue that makes the game less fun and if they would fix it everyone would be able to open more routes. not sure why you guys have a problem with that. 

We should also increase gates in North America even the US as there are way too many American carriers and Chinese carriers that just lease 10 gates at the airport
Just increase the gates in every airport by 100 it’ll be better pls

I think that we should increase the amount of gates at airports in Africa, the middle east and eroupe. Currently small and mid size airports run out of slots very quickly. This makes it unessarly difficult for airlines that want to serve thease destinations. I propose that we add more gates to thease airports to make AE more cometitive and fun.

Remember, Oman Air Paid $75,000,000 for a morning slots in Heathrow from Air France-KLM for extra flights to Heathrow.

My suggestions. An Airlines should be able to hoarding as much gates as they want, this is the most realistic scenario. 

But this is a game. It should balance realism with fun. 

There are some airlines who basically lease the whole airport which only has 10-20 gates. This is very unfair for players not from that country. And moreover it is in Realistic Worlds. Shouldn’t there be a 50% gate limit imposed? Amritsar and Pune are great targets for this very evil and unfair strategy to drive away competition. I am not trying to criticise people here but if I do I am sorry.

I've noticed in the past that this is an issue more so at SOME larger airports IRL that only have 50-60 gates in game. I think that AE should put more gates at these airports so that more airlines that aren't based in this country can operate flights there. 

OR

 airlines can sublease gates so when they have spare time on the gates that they don’t use then they allow other airlines to use it for a fee.
