Funny this topic has been debated to death for 4 years now and there still lacks any concrete rules on private sales, especially early on in the game.

I don't wish to be a fuss, but I like the normal system as is. It may be a tad slower in the beginning, but it balances out later in the game when 30 years go by.

Sadly Maestro I think I'm already out of this round. I forgot this was the fast sim, and boy it didn't time out well, I haven't been able to check it since it was Jan 9th ingame, now it;s May! That's what I get for going to SAN tomorrow and going out and getting drunk last night, oh well....

Obviously your semi-new but alas this mere flame baiting between us is fairly regular, dates back quite a bit, and trust me it's all in good fun, we settled a long time ago people prefer to fly fruit.... :)

I just started last week for the most part and I'm well on my way with 10 DC-3's and 3 more on order and probably a big order coming in a few days. For me though I found a niche brokering to get me on my feet, but all the while I'm slowly building a small profitable operation to make sure I'm not dependent on brokering.

24 hours is extremely fair. It helps me as I'm spending 8 hours driving to NH and back to inspect a car or two. Want in this round :)

Perhaps a word of advice from experience

If u have an issue with a fellow player, how about u approach them in a nice fashion via the ingame message system and just ask why or what are they doing and if u done anything that might have lead them to doing that. Perhaps maybe try to resolve ur differences and learn that there is plenty of room for both, let alone another 1000-2000 players :P


All this hostility, certainly people can try to be diplomatic for one, Kaaiheem may be a route resetting master, but he is still human and in the past when it comes to conflicts is more than willing to negotiate if need be. Coming on here and airing out private matters publicly and flaming will only get you sorrow and malfeasance from the hands of one of AE's best.

Well after taking a few rounds off and being completely AWOL as of late I've rediscovered AE and am trying my hand in Sim 1 for now. Currently based in LAX, we will try expanding slightly, but for this round I will be mostly a broker for the time being. Happy Skies!
