In Topic: Why don't more people use the SJ 100-95LR in game?

I play Russian and Eastern Bloc airlines a lot so I use it. You get more bang for your buck using a bigger aircraft on 2000+nm routes and you get more bang for your buck with E190/F100/B146 on shorter ones.

This does explain why some large airlines in game are ordering large numbers of airplanes and immediately selling them.

Hello everyone ! My name is Ilia, and i Russian. I love these types of simulators where you have to manage your own airline and that's why I'm here. First I want to understand all this a little bit and then play (or what should I do here? )

привет, Илья́.

This is a fairly good simulator. Getting an airline going can be a bit hard - the most vulnerable it will be is at the beginning when it is small - but once economies of scale get going, it gets easier.

The steps are easy. First, choose your hub - I recommend checking the rankings to choose a country with no competing airline, and try to choose a larger airport. Then select your aicraft - you'll have choices at the start. You'll probably want to stick with the same aircraft family for your first 10 or 20 aircraft, since then you'll have a solid base for economies of scale.

Once you start, you can fill out airline code, description, and upload a livery or logo if you choose.

For your first routes, try to find cities with lots of demand from your main hub. Domestic is better, if possible, since the fees are lower. Try to right size the service - no more seats then demand. Also make sure the daily profit you're getting is enough to cover gate cost.

You'll want to get more aicraft ASAP. You can buy used ones, or order new, although I recommend new if available.

Set up more routes, then let the game run a bit to build cash reserves. You can take bonds to cover yourself a bit, too.

Once you've got a good cash reserve, you can start adding more aircraft. Get to the 10-20 range, and then start playing with IFE, IFS, and configuration, since those add cost.

You'll want to build a terminal in your main hub to bring down gate cost, as creating hubs drastically increases gate costs. This will cost a lot of cash.

Once that base is built, you can play the game much more like a simulator or sandbox.

All of my airlines are gone, too. I wonder if there's a site issue.

In Topic: Can someone please fix the airport market share graph, please.

I liked it just to see who all was serving which airports. Really fun at big international airports without a major operator or with a minor one, just to see all the little sections of graph.
