Hi Forum:
I am currently running an airline under the R4/Realistic World yet many of the ways the airlines are allowed to run their business are very unrealistic and quite frankly would never happen in real life.
In particular "Kiss Air" and their unrealistic, anti-competitive, and quite frankly absurd business model which airline-empires is allowing for them to run.
For example:
On a route like LGA-ORD you have 5 different carriers operating the route, running anywhere from 1x to 9x routes a day yet Kiss Air is running it 19x a day. If we are going to be realistic this would never happen. Why don't we have realistic slot limitation and controls in airports like LGA, DCA?
I am all for competition, if you have the money, the planes, and the slots then all is fair. But unfair competition, monopolized competition is not the name of the game - nor realistic.
