Just to add to the Ryanair discussion: A pilot was recently fired for criticizing the safety policy of the airline. Pilots are being told to fly with too little reserve fuel, and he was threatened to lose his job in a letter from Ryanair telling him that he tanked too much fuel. Link

About Me
I'm a ninth grade school student from Berlin, Germany (don't worry: English is my mother tounge!) who is very interested in planning and scheduling flights and other things (trains, buses, you name it). I haven't been on AE for a while, but I'm now "reviving" my account.

Berlin, Germany
For me, the most awesome place in Europe has to be Berlin. Even though there are some downsides of life in Berlin (half-finished airport, unfriendly people, only 22 (!) hours of sun in an entire month, ...) I still think there are quite a few great things about it: First of all, it's a big city, but not so big that it's completely overwhelming. Also, we have a pretty efficient and affordable public transport system (even thoguh it's slowly reaching it's limits in some parts). Lastly, Berlin is great because of it's location right bang in the middle of Europe, making it really easy to fly/drive to all over the place.
