Another option is to go into rankings and sort by Alliance.

The table shows what type flies if you look at it and you're fast at counting, it depends on your math skills but I usually try no make numbers divisible by 7 anyway (that is same schedule every day), of course it's a bit different if you make the same seating configuration for different planes, but usually they are in the same class and earn similar $...

Why would route reputation be lower (or higher) if you put different planes? In the same IFE and similar seating configuration, it would make no difference to passengers.

In principle it should be higher if you put a few better-configured LR planes on a route served by standard narrow-bodies or something like that.

You always put the same type if you're Ryanair, otherwise combinations are not a sin and most airlines do it, and average passengers couldn't tell most planes apart, IRL you can see all kinds of frequent regional routes flying Q400 and A319 on different times of a day or at different days dependent on demand, or combining 737 and A330 on a frequent high capacity transcontinental route, or combining 787 and A380 for different times of day on intercontinental routes, or just mixing very similar but not the same planes like A319 with 738 or 763 and A333 if they have both and both fit the schedule on the same route and they have to use them, or +/-10% capacity really makes a difference when they adjust to passenger numbers, it's all totally completely common.

I know, spamming with over-use and mixing any plane that can fly here is another story, but in real life airlines don't always aim for "consistency" on their most used routes, they often aim for adaptability of their fleet to certain demands in different times of day and week and year, and for an average Joe most planes are the same.

I can agree with you on all of that. I do count frequencies on that very same principle.

I may have been misunderstood... I was referring to ae31.airline-empires.com/routes.php

Rather than http://ae31.airline-...1=JFK&city2=EWR page.
