SOUTHJET REPLACES CEO

ATLANTA, Jul. 13, 1992. /PRNewswire/ -- SouthJet Air (IATA: SG; NYSE: SJT) announced today that it has replaced the recently appointed Mr. Oliver Woody as its Chief Executive Officer. Following a disastrous month that saw operating profit drop by over 50% a a revenue loss of some $5 billion, the Board unanimously decided that Mr. Delta A350 would be better suited to running the airline in an efficient manner in line with corporate goals and culture. SouthJet wishes Mr. Woody every success in his future endeavours, which are understood to centre on an FBI investigation for embezzlement, money laundering, and fraud.

Speaking to employees this morning, Mr. Delta A350 stated that he is "very pleased to become an executive in such an admired company".

SOUTHJET APPOINTS NEW CEO

ATLANTA, Apr. 11, 1992. /PRNewswire/ -- SouthJet Air (IATA: SG; NYSE: SJT) announced today that it has appointed Mr. Oliver Woody as its new Chief Executive Officer. Woody has a strong background in senior management, and hopes to steer the airline through the 1990s and beyond, continuing its meteoric growth. Avington Carr, SouthJet's founder and chairman of the board of directors, will stay on in an advisory role and assist Mr. Woody through the transition.

Many thanks for your application for the position as CEO of SouthJet. Your track record speaks for itself, and we are grateful for your application. However, we observe that you currently serve as CEO and President of Transrossiya. While our airlines do not compete on any routes, the SouthJet board considers this conflict of interest to disbar you from consideration, as our fleet is a major asset and certain board members fear that you may be tempted to sell it to your own airline.
