The one thing I really wish would come to Cities: Skylines is zoning on curved roads not being comprised of a bunch of tiny squares. In real life, there are driveways that connect large houses to curved roads. In Cities, all the houses have to literally hug the road and on curved roads, it's just a lot of tiny zoning squares.
