Granted, but I don't know the equations used and am not sure how Maicom got the numbers he did. If you have a spreadsheet you use that does what his site did, I'd love to see it. If not, I'll wait here and see what Maicom says about his site and the numbers he had.

Out of curiosity, what happened to the site? I used it a lot for my airlines as it offered excellent and accurate seating I could then use in my planes. A shame to see it gone. If possible, I'd love to have the code to be able to restart it myself.

I'm hubbed in Auckland on R6 and my answer is the 777-200LR. I have this plane running at 30% capacity from AKL to a handful of major cities in Europe, but every route makes a net loss of $250,000. Those distances just are not profitable. Max the range of the -200LR at full or slightly reduced capacity, and no further, as such long routes do not make enough to cover costs of fuel and gates. Hope this helps.
