This is about Virgin being outbid by First Group for operation of the West Coast Mainline (this is the UK train route between London - Birmingham - Manchester - Glasgow). This means VT will be shutting down.

Honestly, I'm really gutted.. and disgusted. I thought Virgin was a great company to be involved in the UK train environment. I'm curious about what you think. Have any of you ridden First's trains? Can you compare them to VT? What are your thoughts regarding this... and even privatized rail? Here in the US we obviously have 1 national train company (Amtrak) which is okay, but i've always wondered how it would be as they were before the 70s...private companies.. Any thoughts or comments welcome

And I sure as hell hope the Pendo's won't look like this

I want to suggest that on the home page (the page where you land after logging into your airline) where we have the tabs for Game News, Airline News, Production, Expiring leases, that we also have a tab to notify you of what deliveries have arrived since you last logged in (or you could basically tie it in with the messages feature to show delivery messages). This might also be used to show what idle aircraft you have.

Hi all,
Saturday 30 June I will be flying Southwest Airlines from Oakland, CA to Boise, ID alone ~ perfect for doing a proper trip report then...
I'm rather excited because I get one of the older 737-300 aircraft which are soon to be phased out (after the merger with Airtran, SWA plans to replace them with newer 737-700s & 737 MAX).
Anyways here are the stats on the flight:
WN3319 ~ Boeing 737-300

Arriving Boise (BOI) at 1105 MDT (1705Z)
This will be my one of my first flights within America not on my typical carrier United, normally I fly United to BOI (from SFO) but chose to fly SWA this time for a change. The only other time flying non-United domestic I've had in a while is an AA 737 trip to LAX.
