In Topic: Full Beta For New V2 Game

15 January 2007 - 06:33 PM

Think I have a bug, I had 50M startup cash!

I'm pleased to announce you have $39,657,000 in cash.

Company Value: $51,520,467

Current Ranking: 1/10

Stock Price: $103.04

Daily Operating Profit: $164,478

I hope that this is not already a hint to major problems :P
Otherwise it looks good so far, and I hope that some of the fun comes back.

In Topic: Aircraft Delivered Early!

Ah that explains it wish i knew that :)

A small look into the "Sim Announcements" especially the part about the reset would have shown you this:

New in this version:

An updated "monthly" script, will run faster, limit aircraft deliveries so that no airline will recive more than 5 airframes from any one manufacturer. Also limit so that manufacturers will only deliver 20 airframes (plus 10% of the queue) in total.

:)

In Topic: Gates wrongly removed!

so' date=' torque, any chance we will get back our gates?[/quote']
Nope...

Good, that you did decide not to give the gates back.

Just as an example: I was not able to buy any Gates when the first month-change came up because the downtime was exactly when I had some free time for the game. So now I have a plane and I am waiting to get out of the hole to be able to get some gates, I even lost one Gate this month change because I cannot send the plane to the same airport :-)

It would have been nice to know this

If you get a warning about unused gates at an airport, you must use them ALL next month or any gates you have unused will be removed. However, no longer will the system "remember" warnings over one month.... so if you get a warning, then the next month are using the gates, and the month after that, not using all your gates again, you'll only get a warning and not just have them removed.

it would have saved me $178.200

Keep up the good work and keep fixing those bugs. By the way, you did forget to correct the fule consumption on the 777-300ER (not that I am able to afford one of those soon.)

In Topic: cheapest hub or what ??

Ok, no harm done.

But I have to tell you that a HUB needs a lot of infrastructure to give you some gain. So I would strongly think about having an HUB too early. And building Terminals is also an expensive thing. Even when you get 50% off from your GateCosts, it does still take some time to get your 50mil+ back.

.. and go check his financial page .. cheapest hub i've ever seen :P . No wonder he overtook me by 4 places in ranking by month-change after taking all day to get him :D

Yeah, especially after dropping from around 110-120th place to to where I am now after spending all the money on the Terminal. And please start reading the manual first. There is everything explained especially how to drop your costs on a HUB. If you check the finacial page, you will notice that I first did build a terminal and a month later Hubbed it. And I know that 737MMA will not like this.

So be carful with your accusions.
