    Fokker F70 Range

    Posted 24 Jan 2017

    Hi all,

Another quick note, this time RE: the Fokker F-70. It appears that AE is understating the true range: this "Fly Fokker" document indicates that range with max payload is approx 1,790 mi, rather than the 1,196mi in AE.

    http://www.flyfokker...Performance.pdf

Also note that the F-100 range in AE (1,480mi) is verified by this document

    ATR incorrect data

    Posted 19 Jan 2017

    Hi all,

Further to my recent posts about incorrect data, I believe there may also be some errors with the ATR -42 and -72 family of turboprops. In particular, the range of the -600 series is significantly overstated.

There are also a few types missing (42-320 and 72-210), which I have requested in the “aircraft requests” thread.

Observations based on this brochure from the ATR website: http://www.atraircra...ptembre2014.pdf

I couldn’t find historical data for the ATR-42-200, but it’s possible these numbers need updating as well.

    ATR-42-300

AE Max Payload Range = 579 mi

    * I wasn’t sure what “average speed” refers to, and I couldn’t find any reference to “average speed” in the documentation, so I have included the stated maximum speed for reference.

    DHC-7 Range

    Posted 10 Jan 2017

The range of the DHC-7 seems to be far too high (currently 1,668 mi).

There is currently only one type for this aircraft in AE, although there were two main Dash 7 passenger variants (the -100 and -150).

I can't find a super-official source at the moment (working on it), but according to most sources I'm reading, including Airliners.net (http://www.airliners...nada-dash-7/182), I believe the ranges should be:

-100 (into service in 1975): Full payload range of 794 mi (690 nm)

-150 (into service in 1978): full payload range of 1132 mi (1140 nm)

It would be great to A) update the current AE range (according to whichever variant the current aircraft is meant to be) and B ) also maybe add the second variant as an option?

EMB Family - various incorrect data

    Posted 8 Jan 2017

    Hi all,

I was just perusing the Embraer site and have found that the current official ranges for all of the EMB family aircraft are incorrect, along with min runway lengths, cruise speeds, engine stats and (in some cases) cabin sizes. Not sure if there has been a change in the stats over time after some sort of refresh, or if the original entries are just off? The engine types listed on the official EMB page are the same as in the AE data, and AFAIK there hasn't been any major fuselage changes since start of production, so...

Also, I couldn't find any data sets for "fuel flow" of the respective engines, so if anyone can double check those stats, that would be great!

*Note: I've only included the stats against each model where there is a discrepancy.
