Not sure exactly how to describe this - and not sure if it is a known issue because it is hard to search for it. But, here goes:
In route management, the dropdown menus usually default to the two current airports that you are viewing the route between. When the airport you select as Departure is the last airport in your airport list (i.e., the last airport in the list of where you own gates), the dropdown menu instead displays "-----------------" (the divider between owned airports and the rest of the airports).
