No, he chose to put only 2 or so weakly flights on a rather high demand route and then raise the price about thrice. That way he earnt about twice as much money with about the same amount of aircraft as me (I'm in the top 10 too).

I chose to not do that, as I don't have/want to spend so much time on this .

The trick of e.g. the number two seems to be that he doesn't have a hub and uses only a few gates at his many main airports. I, as another Chinese airline, also have very, very few routes where I'm competing him. Maybe he chooses routes where he doesn't have many competitors.

I like the look on the 777 (it would be amazing with bare metal finish, too bad that won't come), but I don't really like it on the (real) 737. That might be because of its small size and the strange, unique blob on its tail.

I actually like the tail design better than the fuselage.

But, do they really have the money for all this redesigning? This isn't AE...

In Topic: On-time performance unrealistic?

Errmm... an MD87 of mine in R4 is flying the route ANC-YWG 7x weekly. That's all it flies. It has 72 free hours. Still, the on-time performance is just 47, not in the green at all. That shouldn't be possible. I mean, all the delays should come from aircraft failures. Since I have an above average wage for all my employies and a 5% reserves (which isn't too high, I admit), the effect of that shouldn't be too high.

BTW: I made a flight schedule (this was going to implied in AE4, right?) and this airplane flies the according to the following schedule:
ANC-YWG: 12:28-19:41 (local times)
YWG-ANC: 8:12-9:25 (local times)
