This isn't really a large airline by any stretch, but I'd be interested.

I don't think A330NEO would have different wings though, they would however have A350's sharklets, the main difference would be the engines, but wouldn't it mean that A330NEO would be placed in the current A330/A340 cathegory? I mean, the A330-200 and A330-300 have different engine between the 2 model them self.
According to Airbus the A330NEO will have "new" wings. Yes that means it will have sharklets, but there are many new internal changes, such as new supports for an increased payload, possibly a new flap configuration. Not to mention some new materials may be included in the construction, which could change maintenance practices.

I don't think they should be separated. Unlike the 757/767 which had two separate production lines, the A330/A340 were built on the same line. Plus, the 757/767 have their own base maintenance costs in real life and in game, whereas the A330/A340 share maintenance costs.
However I do think that the A330NEO should have its own category (just the like A320NEO and 737MAX do), as the base maintenance costs will likely change as it has a completely different wing and engine, and many other differences too.

It was never really offered to airlines, plus even if one did order some it likely would only have been produced at a small rate per year anyway. Not a big deal, just a little offputting seeing a bunch on the used market, or an airline operating 100+ of the type when it could never happen.
Just trying to follow the logic of allowing type like this to be included, but something like the MRJ or Ejet2 are still rejected. - Despite them having actual orders and likely better preliminary data then the Tu-334 ever has.
