[Resolved] False "Hacker Alert" Message

24 December 2008 - 07:11 PM

Hi,
I was trying to order L188s (four of them) in SIM 1, and it gave me this message:
"Hacker Alert! Report Filed, IP Tracked"
I'm a play by the rules kinda guy, and I've done nothing wrong. I'd hate to lose my progress because of a false message.
I'm a SIM1 airline called Sun Runner and my player ID is 25931.
Thanks.

Sim 1 - Selling Viscounts

Jet Profit Problem - Fixed?

06 December 2008 - 12:25 AM

As you all know, there was a problem that existed in Sim 1 in which jet aircraft could only be profitable when the 'change aircraft' bug was used.
As this bug is no longer in effect (fixed during the reset), has the profitability (or lack thereof) of jet aircraft been fixed?

May 3, 1972, Jacksonville, Florida

Jonathan Heckman (CEO, Tran Air Holdings, Inc.) was in Jacksonville, FL today along with Mitchell Stecker (CEO, Sun Runner Group). The two officially created the Trans-Sun Alliance today, after many years of cooperation between their two airlines, Tran Air (IATA - TA) and SunRunner (IATA - SR). "Jon and I have been working with one another since SunRunner started her first flights out of Jacksonville," Stecker said in an interview today. "Some of our first DC3s were, in fact, former Tran Air metal. Ships #199 and 200 were flown by both Tran Air and SunRunner, and remain in the SunRunner fleet today." Stecker went on to say that the assistance of Mr. Heckman and the partnership between the two airlines was "instrumental" in the development of SunRunner, and that he looked forward to a continued friendship and partnership. The announcement comes only two days after SunRunner announced their newest subsidiary, SunRunner Europe.

SunRunner Group is a Jacksonville, Florida based company, with hubs at Sarasota and Baltimore/Washington International Airports, and with service to 87 destinations throughout North and South America, the Caribbean, and Europe.

Tran Air Holdings, Inc., based in Minneapolis-St. Paul, is the parent company of both Tran Air Airways and Tran Air Executive Aircraft Sales. Tran Air maintains hubs in Charlotte, Dallas-Love, Detroit, Frankfurt , Memphis, Minneapolis–St. Paul, Pittsburgh, San Antonio and San Jose. Collectively, the airline serves 115 destinations within North and South America, the Caribbean, Asia, and Europe.
