Yes, i have had similar problems with the 707, even on non-competition routes to well populated cities

I like the L188 Electra for a couple of reasons
a) 97 seats for only $21M = ceapest per seat cost you can get on currently available planes
;) Speed of 362 is best speed of the 3 (second highest is Viscount at 282!)
c) Range is better
