When an airline builds a terminal, all of its flights transfer to that terminal. This means that the airline no longer uses the 'public' gates that any airline can lease, which is why there's a sharp increase in the number of available gates - they're the 'public gates' that the airline no longer uses as it has built a terminal.

Technically Bermuda has a flag carrier - British Airways - given Bermuda is a BOT and is under the jurisdiction and sovereignty of the UK. Bermuda has a total population of only 65,000 so there's no hope that the nation will have an airline of its own.
