Just a personal observation beta 3.1

I have two acft in service, what are these monthly training costs ($1048000 per m)? Don't these 132 employees ever work?

Monthly training costs depends on the attrition rate of your staff, - which depends on how happy they are
so the happier they are then the more likely they are to stay in your company.

It sounds like you have a high attrition rate
How happy are your staff?

---ps mods, its probably better to move this into a seperate topic in the ae3.1 discussion or new players forums

Yes, you have to continually hire (and pay to train) new staff as people leave naturally, according to your attrition rate, which is inversely proportional to your morale.

Could it be that the number of new employees needed is rounded up each month? Whilst this is not a problem for a big airline (whether you need 87 or 88 new pilots each month), it makes big problems for small airlines: Having to train 1 or 2 pilots due to fluctuation makes a difference of 100%. Even worse are the costs for executives: Although I have only 3 executives and an attrition rate of 2.7% for them, I have to pay $240,000 each month for training executives.

When I read this thread, I just realized that the training cost at my airline is much higher than the monthly payroll to the staff...
