That's a lot of question marks. The information you provided is really vague
The following is based on my experience with FSX.
If you want to run FSX with high graphics and complex payware aircraft and eye candy (like vehicles), I'd recommend an i5 or i7 (at least 2.8ghz clock speed), preferably one of the Sandy Bridge processors that just came out (i5/i7-2xxx series) so you have an upgrade path. A first-gen i5 or i7 is also fine for FSX, but keep in mind that platform is now a dead end.
RAM - you'd need at least 2GB. I highly recommend 4GB (if at all possible).
Graphics card - I recommend a GTX 460 or 560 level or better, or ATI Radeon 5770/6850 or better
I'm not sure what your budget is, but for FSX the processor speed is the most important factor, then graphics card. Prioritize in that order (if you don't play other graphics heavy games). But none of that matters if you don't have enough ram (see above).

I don't really see it as a problem if it's based on FSX, I mean FSX is based off FS2004 which is based off FS2002 and so on and so forth.
Thats the problem.
Its not based on FSX

I thought some of the project aces people came back also, im sure microsoft still owns MSFS, after firing all the programmers, although i may be wrong, but i recall Bruce artwick (original creator of flight simulator) left microsoft, or was fired (cant remember), but microsoft kept the rights to the MSFS code.........
That doesnt mean its based on FSX, im just talking random junk thats slightly related to the topic at hand
Its a completely different graphics engine to FSX
