This is part of the Airline Event Simulation that un1 and simmaster are developing, for AE3.1, which will be released later this month.

My understanding is that crashes will NOT be part of the simulated events. :eyebrow:

Crashes are not going to be part of AE 3.1. There aren't enough variables available to accurately simulate a crash. There will be emergency landings, though.

The oxygen masks will fall from the ceiling. Didn't you listen to the safety presentation before you took off? :D

May be this can woks like another sim games: Less expenses in maintenance, more probability of crashes, or emergency landings

We will have a new maintenance system in the next version, and there will be the probability of breakdowns depending on your maintenance settings. :P

Crashes aren't as common as many people think! lol

Yes, there is emergency landings and delays due to tech issues quite often, but for hundreds of airlines in the sims to be waiting for a crash would be very unrealistic wouldn't it? :rofl2:

I think its good that maintenance programs will have good or bad effects on an airline, forcing us to choose cheap and unreliable or pricey but reliable :ermm2:

An alternative, is to revoke the certification of airplanes avoiding then to fly. Less expenses, more airplanes on the ground
