I have been trying to figure out how to move flights from an aircraft with an expiring lease that I do not wish to renew to a similar aircraft I purchased as a replacement. I have not found an easy way to do this. If I delete all the routes from the old aircraft and start them anew with the new aircraft I lose my place in the market and do not have the same passenger numbers I had before. I know that you can go into the individual routes, click on all the flights in a route and move them but then you have to pay attention to where the new plane has been assigned before you can switch another route. E.G. if the old plane is flying LGA-MIA, MIA-ATL, and ATL-DFW, you have to switch the routes in that order. If you switch #1 then try to switch #3 the system will know the plane doesn't fly to ATL yet and won't let you switch to that plane. It gets even more complicated you have the plane flying all over creation. :)
Is there a way to switch ALL the routes in one easy step?

yes there is a way to do it
go onto the aircraft details page and at the bottom there is a link saying "move all to another aircraft"
Click on that and select the aircraft to switch it with

Thank you. I found it.

It seems the algorithm for replacing a leased aircraft could use some work. It will not let you buy an aircraft you have been leasing if the value of the airplane is less than 50% of the lease payments you have made. In real life I can't imagine an aircraft lessor would not let you buy the plane for something. You can let the lease run out then buy the very same plane off the used aircraft market but then you have to reset all your routes and fares. Of course you will not have the same profitability you had before. I don't know why.

Another odd thing is that when you replace a leased aircraft with an identical one and use the "move all routes to another aircraft" you don't have the same profitability. It really shouldn't change anything in your routes but I had a case where a leased ATR making $38,000/day was replaced by an identical ATR I bought used. After the replacement the ATR was losing money on every route.

With the identical aircraft using money, was it an older version of the same aircraft?
when they are older, the costs increase.
