I have a doubt.. I started an airline at the 23rd of december, and I believe it's been about a year since it's operating. It actually grew quite well beeing ranked at number 69 with a 25 million daily profit.
I was playing and buying some planes this afternoon and once I left my computer I had around 50 millions in funds.
So when I logged back an hour later it was septermber 1st and was NEGATIVE in + than 160 millions. I checked and looked at my financial balance and and my aircraft leasing was around 29 million (less than the previous month since I've been terminating leasing contracts and buy planes) and couldn't find something to justify more than 100 million in funds been withdrown without much explanation.
Does anyone know if we have to pay dividend to share holders after a year or something like that? Please, help me!!! Thank you!

Some of the expenses (gate leases, aircraft maintenance, income tax, etc) are paid at the end of the month. So if you spend all your cash near the end of the month, it may very well be negative after you make those monthly payments.

I see! Thank's a lot man! That's probably it. It was quite a shock to see it all in red. Now no more buying A330's / 320's by the end of the month.
Can I also as a diferent question? I'm confined to a rather small country (sweden) and although I was able to find some very proftable international routes it can all go so far. I know that you can't start a flight from a diferent country than the one your airline belong, but after browsing through some other airlines profiles I saw that a few of them operate flights from diferent hubs... can you do that by joining an alliance or something like that?
Thank you!

You can fly from other countries if there's an open skies agreement (so if you're in the EU, you can fly from other EU countries as well).

Wow.. that's good... but I just tried to open a route from Paris Orly to Malaga just to see if it would work and I got the "Must depart or arrive from your home country." message...

Hmm...are you seeing that on the "Open New Route" page or the "Research Route" page?
