Now Ontario Airways is known as NSW Regional Airlines.

At the end of the last round, Ontario Airways managed 15 million in money by the end and also connected to 7 Ontario cities, 3 other Canadian cities and 8 American cities, it had 12 aircraft and 56 routes. This round will be much better because I only had 1 year of game time last round and I'm smarter as far as playing the game, so next time I'm not wasting 11 million of start up funds. Scratch that, I failed due to competition by Great Lakes Airways.

Current statistics,
Airline closed operations - Nov. 13 2009
Liquidation - Nov. 14 2009 (Value before - 1,315,000,000)
Re-opening as - Ontario Airways - Nov. 14 2009
Liquidation - Nov. 21 2009 (Value before - 1,235,000,000)
Re-opening as - Canadian Regional Airways - Nov. 21 2009
Liquidation - Dec. 19 2009 (Value before - 20,000,000)
Re-opening as - NSW Regional Airways - Dec. 19 2009

Well, I have managed to create almost all of my routes from last time, just a few more I need to do:

Toronto Pearson - Toronto City Center,Hamilton
Toronto City Center - Toronto Person
Hamilton - Toronto,Buffalo,Washington,Boston,Philadelphia
Buffalo - Hamilton
Washington - Hamilton
Philadelphia - Hamilton
Boston - Hamilton

Anyways, I have 3x the DOP compared to last round already even without these routes.

Ontario Airways is proud to announce that we have finally reached 1,000,000 dollars in D.O.P, and have completed all of it's routes from last round.

(Edited on) Just now, Ontario Airways has purchased its first jet aircraft! A CRJ-900ER.

We have opened our first hub in Toronto today, mainly because we ran out of gates, also to add our value is now over 100,000,000 and our daily profit has increased to 1,500,000.

(Edited on) We have now opened a second hub in Ottawa.

Ontario Airways opened it's first flight to Europe today! Toronto to LHR. More flights to LHR will be made shortly out of Ottawa and Hamilton.

But first we are replacing our Q400, Q100 and J-31EP fleets with larger aircraft, also we are upgrading the aircraft on all flights with a load factor of 95% or more. The Q400 will be replaced with the CRJ705 and CRJ900ER. The Q100 will be replaced with the CRJ200ER*. The J-31EP will be replaced with a Fairchild Dornier 328, as well as some Fairchild Dornier 328 flights will be replaced with a CRJ200ER. After that only the Fairchild Dornier 328 fleet and the Cessna Grand Caravan will remain for our propeller fleets.

(* one flight on the Q100 will be downgraded to the Fairchild Dornier 328 due to low load factor)

So at the end of this long plan our fleet should be,
5 Grand Caravans
4 Fairchild Dornier 328
2 CRJ900ER
2 A319-100
1 CRJ705
1 CRJ200ER
1 A330-300

Oh and thanks BRUMBCA for replying.

As far as work on that plan goes we have sold of the Q100, Q400 and J-31EP fleets and now only have 4 FD328 and 5 CGC208, we still need to purchase a A330 and a A319, we should be able to purchase the A330 by the end of the month however...

As far as next years plan (game time), I'm working on that. This year's information will be posted in two game months as well as next year's plan.

At the end of this year Ontario Airways reach the following statistics.
- Daily Operating Profit (approx.): $2,900,000.00
- Value (approx.): $350,000,000.00
- Profit Last Year (approx.): $450,000,000.00
- Destinations: 27
- Routes: 101
- Fleet: 15 (0 order)
- Hubs: 2
- Daily Passengers (approx.): 4,120

Alliance: AAA

As far as completing the plan stated above, we still need to purchase an A-319 and open 2 new Trans Atlantic flights.

Next year we plan on connecting more cities across North Amercia such as Los Angeles, Denver, Houston, Vancouver, Calgary, Mex City and much more.

We also hope to connect a city in South America, aswell as a few more cities in Europe such as Paris, Frankfurt, Madrid, Barcelona etc. We might connect to Asia, but that is to far ahead.

As for our planned fleet, I think I might stick with the A330 for high capacity routes and A319 for medium capacity inter regional flights. We will continue on expanding our fleet of CRJ's for Regional flights (North America) as well as A320 family and possibly the 737 family, Airbus A319, A321 and A330 for inter regional flights and maybe eventually 767s and 777s for that purpose.

Most of all this year we are trying to expand more into Canada to cities like Halifax, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, St Johns, Goose Bay and Moncton (YQM), maybe. :P
We also want to expand more into North America and the Caribbean as well as Europe.

After connecting to more Canadian cities on the East Coast such as Halifax, we decided to connect to Saskatoon and Regina. Now we opened routes to Vancouver and Calgary with our first purchase of a Boeing jet, 737-900ER. Next we don't know what to do...

Well, after a long negotiation, due to increased competition with Great Lakes Airways, we will stop expanding into Canada and anywhere else, only America, so today we opened routes to SFO, DEN and MSP.

Today, we have shown signs of growth once again! After having our D.O.P constantly shrinking from 3,000,000 to about 2,600,000 after we added new routes. Well today it went from 3,016,000 to 2,980,000 then back up to 3,050,000. It might not be much but it is the first rebound in about two weeks. :)

Also, with that, we purchased 3 new 737-700, -800 and -600. With these we will expand to Mexico and more cities in America. Despite the fact we have only received 2 aircraft so far, our D.O.P has gone up 300,000 dollars, the first increase to our D.O.P that large in a long time, even though I have added tons of routes since then, it has been falling that much.

Also, we opened our 3rd hub, in Hamilton.

Last year wasn't as good as we hoped we managed this though,

- Daily Operating Profit (approx.): $3,300,000.00
- Value (approx.): $995,000,000.00
- Profit Last Year (approx.): $791,000,000.00
- Destinations: 60
- Routes: 158
- Fleet: 29 (0 order)
- Hubs: 3
- Daily Passengers (approx.): 9,405

Alliance: AAA

Growth was limited however for most of last year, shrinking DOP and growing route numbers made it impossible to pass 3,100,000 dollars of DOP. This year we forcast mild growth mainly through North America, and to focus in the Caribbean, as well as open a new route to Europe.

Ontario Airways is closing due to falling profits from competition. We will be back next round as NSW Airlines.

(After liquidation we will run a small number of flights out of Toronto, under the name Ontario Airways until the end of the round to use up some of the Aircraft sales money/to use the YYZ terminal we own)

After a fail by Ontario Airways 2 they declared bankruptcy. After that they re-opened as Canada Regional Airways at YUL, they failed there to. Now Ontario Airways is called NSW Regional Airways based at CLT.
