I am sure this has been mentioned in one way or another, but I think the older aircraft should also be on the new market. It has to be possible for an airline to get say a MD-82 easier than it is on here.

Thanks,

Spenser;)

Oh yeah, my bad, title should have been "Why aren't the older planes for sale NEW"

I purchased a 19-yr old 727 thought wow low price but hard to find a profitable route for it, but still managed $227,005 return on it but if this was an A319 would be tripple the return.

727-200
3 United Technologies JT8D-17A $789.00 Value age 019

Yes well my 19 year ol DC10 - 15 made money in the beginning but I ended up mothballing it today.

Why mothball instsead of sell , well mothballing got me 2.1M , selling would have brought me 1.7M :P

The scrap dealer should think about his prices *lol* (he should buy a/c's on the used market to get them cheaper :P ).

Since we have no specific year it is a nice addition, though very unrealisitic. If you can operate those then it's good for you, if make no money (then we told you) sell the plane.
I am going to order a few in case you are going to remove them later.

Just wait for people to sell them to the bank and buy them off the used market :sdrool: It wont take long.
