I always have liked having one major hub it's actually kinda fun . It may seem crazy though even though you're missing out on alot of cash its still really fun and it looks good on your route map , instead of a bunch of scribbles Air Takao also does a one hub thing
There's lots of benifiets like you get to charge way higher prices than your competitions and in a way people know not to mess with your airports , but that doesnt stop the major airlines lol

That is why I like flying everywhere with 4-6 hubs. That way the airports with small runways I can still get to.

It all depends on what your goals are in this game. For some it's just to fly from their home towns or cities with one or two hubs and for others like me it world domination - >

Well, having a focus city or two certainly doesn't hurt, just where its uneconomical to operate to a certain destination from your main hub, but quite profitable to do so from a closer city.
I know this isn't the place for suggestions, but it might not be a bad idea to keep hubs at 15 gates, but the option to open a focus city with a max of 5 gates or so, which for an extra cost, you can upgrade to a hub if you wish. The focus city would cost less to set up, would boost LF's/revenue, but obviously not as much as a hub. Just an off the cuff thought.

Lol thats the thing i have EWR and i fly to almost 80% of all the airports in america , ive neaver had troubles with runway length cause then i'll just change aircraft . The only exception is Toronto cityThat is why I like flying everywhere with 4-6 hubs. That way the airports with small runways I can still get to.

See and then there's people like Glennos who just love to dominate every major airport
But i also like the focus city idea , but a max of maybe 10 gates instead of 5
