Hi,
I'd like to suggest that the new rules on no hubs/terminals outside one's starting region be extended a bit further, for realism. With this cycle, I noticed that quite a few players started off on Day 1 with "hubs" (not official ones, but with routes centered on particular cities) in multiple regions/countries, e.g Europe and Asia, or Europe and the US.
Since this would never happen in real life with ownership restrictions and all, how about a rule that one cannot start routes within a region outside his starting region, or between 2 countries other than his starting country, for a certain period? Or alternatively (I think this might be easier to implement) that a player can only start additional services from a certain city if that city is linked to his already linked to others in his network?
To illustrate, this would mean that a player who starts the game with a LHR-centered operation cannot also start a focus city operation at HND, until he starts LHR-HND services (better still if the game can require that he maintain those services continuously for x months).
I think this would go some way to making it fairer for those who join the game later, since it would slow down the saturation of airports/routes. Just a suggestion, maybe for future resets.
New rule on hubbing
