This Game Needs Rounds Simultaneously!

On a seperate note, you big airlines like KaaiElEm- stop putting A380's on routes for $1 fares (especially commuter routes), its wrong and its really rude! Glennos said he ENJOYS FORCING AIRLINES UNDER! Thats just SICK! People join to have fun, not so they serve someone else's PERVERSE PLEASURE by being bankrupted! I'm not picking a fight or trying to be offensive, I'm simply trying to point out a need for multiple, simultaneous rounds, that aplayer could choose ONE to join at once. The rounds would have limits as to how many could join per round (175 MAX)! Maybe we should have a seperate round just for airlines like KaaiElEm who only wish to kill each other for the heck of it. This way they can enjoy themselves and the others don't get caught in the crossfire. A win-win situation!!:eureka::eureka:

I personally think that more airports should be added in the game, as well as a new LF script and many loopholes to be fixed as well as re-activating that inactive airline script. I think multiworlds can be applied. But with the active amount of airlines perhpas being at some 50 players, it wouldn't be needed. But first, fixing all the serious problems and adding in some new cool stuff should be on the priority list of the development team since active numbers dropped so highly over the past few months. Once those issues get fixed and people come back to AE, then I think maybe then we can start seeing new things in the game. This game is getting to big! 261 airlines sharing ONE world is Obscene! We need multiple rounds going at once a limit so that a player can only play in one at a time. The cheaters are making this game unplayable for anyone who doesn't cheat. You CAN succeed without cheating, I haven't cheated and my airline is worth nearly $10 Billion! The cheaters only do it because they are incapable of do well without it. I'm not going "Juan Trippe" but I am a large airline and I am starting to combat cheating wherever I find it.

As for airliens like the one you described. I've made my point earlier in the other thread. Let him do as he please, as long as it's within the rules I guess. Eventually he'll try new things for himself or just grow bored with the game and leave altogeather. I hope that Miller comes back and helps find ways to make it harder for airlines to operate like that, it really kills the game, and I'm pretty sure he made the game for more than just 10 people, but that is just me.

261 airlines is too much? I'd say the cap should be 750-1,000 airlines.
Have you tried flying in North America? I'd be willing to bet that nearly 200 of them are operating in NA. Sorry I put this in the wrong forum, I completely forgot about the Suggestions forum.

The lack of more airports in AE means you'll sometimes have to move around from Continent to Continent in order to survive those mass attacks. I hate it too, but I learned that with the right work, you can deal with it. The game really needs to be reset now though, there are many inactive accounts holding onto gates and routes that could be put to better use.

I was in the top 30 in Sim 1 making a nice bit of money based in North America. I had fun but I didn't have time to maintain my airline.

:puzzled: 261??? Maybe you should read a couple more threads. You really can't complain about it when a few times there were over 2500 active airlines.

He sure has from my past knowledge, as I did and Australis. 750-1000 sounds very decent actually, if failing in NA, then close the less sucessful routes and open up routes elsewhere. Thats what I did in my 2nd round when "gate holding/hoarding/hogging" became a problem at MCO, I moved to WAW, which itself became intense rather quick, so I then made a large base (and then it became a hub) at VKO and was #1 there and then when I grew big enough, decided to help make a WAW hub after buying out a Alliance member who wanted to leave, I have the evolution of the routemap if you don't see my point, and I can post them all here.

I tried to start up in Australia - FAILED MISERABLY!
Went to Japan - success!
You just need to find highly populated areas that in real life depend on more than just a few airlines.
Real-life research might come in useful if you're just starting up.

Miller has spent countless hours on this LF issue and so far despite the time frame that it is going to be one issue we all have to live with.
Miller has in sim2 extra airports, that can be submitted into this game but its Millers call.
You should read the forum posts on LF that will tell you more.
