Turns out, the revenue function wasn't taking into account total capacity across a certain city pair. For those of you able to charge $3,000 between LAX and LAS with several hundred frequencies, sorry to rain on your parade.

I don't know if this is related to the bug repair in Sim2 or what, but since May 25 I haven't been able to create any new profitable routes, or indeed create any routes with any load factor whatsoever. I believe that this may be the result of unfair competition of some kind from a major rival at MSP. Can anyone advise me of my options? Thank you all in advance.

I think to be fair to Sim2 testing there should be a reset, so airlines that quit or haven't pulled off excess flights can try from scratch to make money. Many routes are beyond saturation at this point with all the A380's and all.

galapagapop, I was considering that. With the over-saturation of the game, we may need to reset.

That ought to bring out a lot of complaints.

That's a good idea  , that way the changes you made will be tested better. It's hopeless at the moment.

I'm all for a reset.

I am getting unimageinable loadfactors. I could get 100% lf on a flight with a 739 between Yaoundé and N'Djamena, two small airports, with a ticket price of $2500. Maybe it is just the Game Capacity Adjustment, who knows?

Cheers,

Well right now it's FUBAR and I can't be bothered trying to figure out what will work and what won't. I had LHR-JFK, going nicely and now it isn't:thumbdown:
Reset it so I can :airplane comfortably
