An airline to remain nameless is ruining the integrity of this game. I mean honestly, who puts A330's on the routes that he does. I understand it if you need to hold a gate, or thats all the hours you have left over after an international route. But, putting an A330 on a route of less than 500 miles with a ticket price of $79......come on, have some class

Well better get use to more of this, will not be long till the 747's and A380 emerge on routes less than 500NM to use up the hours left on the aircraft.
This pratice has been going on since this game was developed, till the game includes a cap on runway lengths and other factors all must put up with it.

can you edit your post to take the airline name out please. i dont think that the airline needs to be made public.
My issue is its not to take up extra hours, he has it running crazy over the US on nothing but one ways.

Why is that a problem if that happens in real life?
There are 747s running really short routes such as SYD-MEL, HKG-TPE, etc...

because
1. in real life there is capacity for that
2. its to use the extra hours left over from international flights.
Last time i checked ATL-MCI does not have anywhere near the capacity needed for an A330, nor ATL-MEM

Not sure why you are complaining about it. You will have similar routes once the game progresses further.

It's part of the game and just as irritating as someone flying A330-300s on routes from cities where they arent even based.

I love it when 'forum regulars' get all up themselves because an upstart 'noob' has the audacity to point out that they're acting like a prick.

Oh for gods sake. Calm down ladies, you may think you are credible but fighting over nothing is pathetic.
Flybe - Who'd've thought Pixies and Trolls would be certified pilots?

It seems kind of obvious, but I'm going to have to assume there's actually no real point bothing to argue with this Ian guy anyway...

Why is everyone arguing. I notice almost every airline in the game will get massive Widebody aircraft and undercut people. I don't like it when it happens to me, but we'll just have to live with it, if you established yourself well enough, then these planes will be just a small scratch in your networks. Of course like with gate hogging, real airlines do it too.

United used to run a 747 from Denver to O'Hare...just a thought from a noob.
