The reset has been completed and you can once again log in to start planning your empire. The game will not move, however, until Friday around 10pm EST. This gives everyone an even chance to get their airlines set and to allow an even start once the game begins once again.

Great, that sounds really fair.
I'm currently 2nd in the leader board - a record for me!
May I suggest you give us a date it will end at asap to avoid confusion later on?

Firstly, welcome back to AE miller and hope things in RL are going very well for you. I would hope you had success uploading the new LF script and the Digg news feature is great!
Unfortunately, monthchange time of 6pm GMT (1pm EST) when TW did the resets was no good for half the players.
10pm EST (3am GMT) is also no good for the other half!
I'd think that a 5pm EST (10pm GMT) if possible is a good compromise as it gives both European and N.American players a good chance to play since the monthchange is arguably the most critical phase of this game.
I also don't think that 48 hours notice would be needed this time since the reset has been highly anticipated by all and being technically a week late means the anticipation is even higher! I would love the game to get going on Thursday night!

I agree here and think that we should start the game tommorow night just as it has been widely anticipated and I believe that many were checking the board every day to see when the reset would occur.
Also, the earlier time change would make it more accesible to the European players (after work/school) and easier for the Asian ones as well as they will have the ability to look before school. And here in the U.S. school/work will be ending! A perfect combination!

Good to hear about the reset. About the waiting time before the clock ticks, not really pleased, but i will just accept it.

I haven't been on for a year, so don't know if it still happens, but when I was playing there would regularly be "pauses" where the game got a few hours behind. If so, it doesn't really matter when it comes off pause, since it will just be shiffting anyway. If this doesn't happen anymore then I guess I just wasted a tiny bit of bandwidth.

Is the game start programmed or does miller have to type in some codes or something?
