Hi there folks and thank you very much for attending this press conference tonight.
I'll try to make it short so you all can return to business.

The first year is over and we from Air Berlin think we've done a good job. althou the most recent rankings are not placing us in the top 20, we ain't that far away.
We managed to sell our beeches and are now operating out of Frankfurt, Germany (FRA) with four Q400s and four A321s. In January, we were able to make almost 40 million dollars out of ticket sales. for march, we're expecting to increase sales to some 44 millions.
We managed to hold 14% of the local Frankfurt marketshare, however we're facing some strong competition from Parabolic Airlines and Robson Air (9 and 7 percent). We'll hopefully be able to come up with a solution benefiting the three of us.

We, Air Berlin, have one slogan: Air Berlin - Fly Euro Shuttle. this is what we are planning to become. The main German carrier connecting Germany to entire Europe and major cities worldwide. However, European skies are a very crowded place these days with lots of competition. Some are doing really good, namely Europe Air, who are operating out of their hub in brussels, Belgium. Fortunately, we have been able to engage into an alliance (sky team) benefiting both our alliance. (other members are: international and Northwest). Also, there is Australis operating out of Spain. All the experienced CEOs here most likely know about this Airline and remember it as a spanish stronghold. although we currently have different markets and are therefor not interfering with each other's business, we're quite aware that in the future, this might become an issue. but we at Air Berlin are confident, that Australis and Air Berlin will figure out a way to solve that issue, once again benefiting both of us.

To make a long story short, gentlemen, we at Air Berlin are not yet where we want to be, but we think we've done a good job so far and definately have the potential to make it.

THanks for coming here tonight and thanks for listening.

You all have a great week.
Thanks
