In a recent interview for Mpls St Paul magazine CornField's COO Adam Bradley-McCormick outlined some of CornField's recent changes, and some opportunities for the future. Here is an excerpt of that interview.
Any new destinations in the near future?
Absolutely, we have already added Anchorage, Alaska to our daily non-stops from the twin cities. We are looking at several other destinations. I can't disclose them due to ongoing negotiations, but I can tell you people are going to be excited.
One of your partner airlines recently announced that they were shutting down, how does this effect CornField's operation?
Taurus' announced shutdown threw us for a bit of a loop. Our code-share agreement allowed a lot of our passengers to us Taurus' phenomenal Kansas City hub to connect all over the Midwest and East Coast. We are certainly looking at taking over their operations where it makes sense to us.
Is this going to lead to new jobs here?
That I can't tell you. We already have absorbed several employees from Taurus' operation here. We entered into an agreement to purchase almost all of Taurus' long-range aircraft. We have already accepted delivery on two of them. We actually got them out on the flight line faster than we had expected. All they needed was cosmetic renovations inside, and of course our gorgeous green and gold livery.
What about Minnesotans that have trips booked on Taurus Air?
Taurus has a plan in place. But, CornField is taking extra steps. Any ticketed Taurus passenger can walk up to ANY CornField ticket counter and we will accommodate them to best of our abilities at no additional cost.
Is there a partner airline to replace, Taurus?
First, you don't find airlines looking for partnerships that are the quality of Taurus. But we have to go forward. We have just inked a partnership deal with a South American airline, Transvania Holland. We connect with them in Caracas, Venezuela. They service most of the Caribbean island nations, and are a good fit to fill our slate of vacation destinations. We hope that we can offer a seamless code-share like our other partner airlines.
Thanks for your time.
Thanks for allowing me to talk about CornField Airways, The Twin Cities Green and Gold standard in air travel.

From this months Mpls St Paul:
Trying out ArcSoft's photo editor. Not crazy about the results with the first go round.
Before, the 'photo rights' police come calling. Photo came from the Vegas Tourist Bureau stock.
