April 20, Year 3-Lewinki Aero reveals 521mil order split between Airbus, Boeing, Embraer.

Today Lewinki Aero (FRA) has revealed the details of its new airline shopping spree .After given much thought about how each aircraft will play a different role in the future of Lewinki. A new order was placed consisting of:

x3 Boeing 757-300
x3 Boeing 737-900
x1 Airbus A330-300
x1 Embraer EMB-195LR

While it's clear that Boeing took home the lion's share for the order, a Lewinki spokesman who was available for an interview says, "The Embraer order represents a boost to the Embraer E-jets".

"By offering a consistent,reliable and modern product we followed up with yet another Embraer order".

"The plane when delivered will give Lewinki 9 of the Embraer EMB-190/195 twinjets". "The planes offer just the [Iight amount][/I] of seats and range to service niche markets that Lewinki is known for servicing".

"Also the addition A330-300 will be use to enhance Lewinki's long haul
offerings with many new destinations being considered for expansion". "This A330 will also feature Lewinki's new onboard offerings including a massage parlor and seatback HD-TV's."

The Embraer will be stationed at out ARN focus city, and will be used to operate flights to holiday destinations confirms the spokesman.

Thanks Cretian and Alex im not Richard Branson as I dont have a place onboard the plane to get a manicure (yet lol)

In other words Lewinki Aero has configured on of it's A319 twinjet's for long-haul operation.

"With the same seats and products available on the A333 on the A319 we aim to offer our customers a consistent and enjoyable product and experience" says CEO Devan Welch.

Today the airline took delivery of x1 739, x1 753 and x1 E-195. The Boeings were immediately pressed into service from the FRA hub upgrading services to Dublin, Moscow and Athens as well as starting new non-stop service to Lisbon.

Faro also received larger equipment. The FAO flights which was made possible by a grant by the local Azores government provided the people of the Azores and southern regions of Portugal with a invaluable link to the outside world via nonstops to Frankfort and same-plane service via Toulouse, France by Germany's largest carrier™.

Hello all, well I just took delivery of another Airbus A330-300 the nickname for this one is the "Boston Bruiser" as it will primarily be used for flights to Boston.

For the Boston Bruiser the configuration will be 34 Buisiness © (lie flat) and 264 Economy (Y). With the 34 Buisiness Class seats buisinessmen/women can enjoy themselves after a long day's of work on Lewinki's new lieflat seats with 176 degress recline.

Additionally the BOS flight will be times so travellers from points in the USA that Lewinki serves such as IAD, JFK, DFW and STL can enjoy no hassles as they travel via BOS. On the FRA end the flight will be times to connect to LHR, CDG, LIS, FAO, MXP and FCO.

In other news Lewinki's sole longhaul Airbus A319 is being utilised on the new daily PHL flight. With a spacious 16 J, 106 Y seating.

September 16th update

I know that I havnt been updating this as much as I should....

Well Lewinki is growing even more at it's FRA world gateway which now has non-stop service to 60 destinations from it's new dedicated terminal.

Frankfurt Terminal 3 is for the use of Lewinki Aero and its regional partners. Frankfurt airport and Lewinki both funded this project and share responsibility for operating and maintaining this new terminal. With the dedicated terminal this will see even more growth by Lewinki which now controls 23% of the market and is Germany's largest carrier.

Fleet Update

Lewinki now has 10 737-900s and 9 757-300s with 1 more 739 coming and 2 753s coming in the next few months.

More of the popular Airbus A330-300s are on their way as well, so are Boeing 747-400/ERs.

In other news Lewinki announced it's intention to open a second European hub and to give Lewinki even more distinction Lewinki Aero will be called Deutsche Lewinki.

A380 here we come!!!

This morning Lewinki Aero has announced the purchase of it's first Airbus A80 ultra long haul widebody jet.

Deutsche Lewinki International Ltd. signed a memorandum of understanding to acquire 1 of the 505-seaters in a few months game time, as well as 2 A330 long-range jets, and 1 A319LR Airbus said in a statement.

The Airbus statement said the Lewinki umbrella group planned to use the A380s on long-haul routes from the FRA world gateway to long haul destinations. While the 1 A333 and 1 A319 will be used for the new subsidary Svenska Lewinki from its Stockholm base.
