I noticed that the date near the end of the month skipped from 24th the the 1st of the new month. Why aren't the other days simulated at the same pace?

It's just the mechanics of the game. Each month only has 24 days. You get used to it. I can't exlain why but it is what it is. Ask the Dev. Good luck getting a response.
