I feel like I should share these bugs that devs have never felt the need to patch to help even the playing field for newer players. Hypocritical of me for even mentioning fairness while running something of a spamline, I know, but idc.

-First, close all flights to that airport. This means that superterminals are only possible at airports you are only starting operations at, unless you want to close all of the flights you have at an existing airport. The other way you could build a superterminal without closing all flights you already have is to start a second airline in the same country as your first airline, but that second airline needs to be able to afford huge terminals, so unless you're doing this at a tiny airport with super cheap terminal fees then you would need to grind both airlines to a point where 200 gates is no longer enough.

-Build a 200 gate terminal, then immediately sell it

-Repeat until you have the number of gates you want. I.e. if you want a 1000 gate terminal, you need to build and sell 5x 200 gate terminals. Do note that there is an upper limit on the number of gate slots that you could have at any airport, being somewhere around 32k. This means that the "ideal" size to build for is around 600 gates.

-Buy back all of those sold terminals, and now you have something of a superhub at your airport.

-Have fun (optional)

Q: Why does this work?
A: The game controls the maximum amount of gates that you can add to terminals through extending the terminal. The game doesn't make that same check for when you purchase an existing terminal. As such, by selling multiple terminals, then buying them all back at the same time, you are avoiding the 200 gate limit check.

Q: Could someone steal my terminals?

A: Yes, but this process only takes maybe a minute to build a 669 gate terminal, so it's very unlikely to occur.

Q: Let's say for some whatever reason I have a 100 gate terminal at an airport and I plan on closing operations at that airport. If I sell my terminal, would it mean that the spamline at the airport who drove me out of this airport could buy my 100 gate terminal if I sold it and get themselves a 300 gate terminal?
A: Yes, if you don't want others to get your terminal, then demolish it when leaving an airport.

Q: Why would you even need more than 200 gates at an airport?
A: Three reasons:

1.) You are running a hyperspamline and you've ran out of slots before running out of airports.
2.) You operate a boatload of regional jets and you've used up all of the slots.
3.) You are in a long world and natural expansion meant you used up all of the slots.

Q: Why are you sharing this trick? It would lead to more spamlining!
A: Cheers mate

Very interesting; I knew about this trick but I forgot how to do it. Anyway, I don't plan on using this, because I never find myself needing the full 200 gates, let alone 600.

Actually, there's limit to the amount of slots you could have. 32,767 slots. More than that, you can't actually use the gates.

Not true. The max that can be displayed is 32,767.

A terminal with 40,000 slots will show as 32,767. Adding 1,000 flights to that airport will then show 31,767. However, by using the "re-sync slots" button, the total will go back up to 32,767. This will continue until the true number of used slots surpasses 7,233, at which point the displayed number of slots will reflect the true value.

It's quite fascinating.

Interesting. I'm gonna create a new spamlines and used this to flood the market. Thanks.
