Application Guidelines

Thank you for showing interest in Rise Alliance!

Below is a comprehensive list of prerequisites for applying, as well as relevant Alliance guidelines and rubric.

Member Prerequisites

Prospective member must be active on the AE gallery & forums or related communities.

While regular posts are not required, active participation in the community is expected.

Prospective members must have a history of positive interactions within said communities.

Prospective member must have Discord for alliance communications.

Prospective member must not have previously been a part of Rise.

Brand Prerequisites

Logo and livery must be original work.

Clip-art, pre-existing logos with or without modification, AI-generated images, etc. are considered unoriginal work.

Names may not be original so long as they are not currently in use by any brand on the AE gallery nor in real life.

Auxiliary branding must be present.

Auxiliary branding is considered any item that does not directly pertain to the airline’s core branding. Aux branding may include but is not limited to special liveries, retro logos/liveries, advertisements, articles, or artifacts relating to the airline.

Brand may not be from a country which is already occupied by a member airline.

Lore must be present.

Airline must be a full-service carrier.

Secondary brands are allowed, however, these will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis after the prospective member has already been accepted.

Application format

Rise Alliance values artistic/creative freedom and expression. Therefore, so long as the prospective member demonstrates fulfillment of the prerequisites listed above, they may choose to include as much or as little information as they like, in any format, with the exception of the application title. The title should be formatted as follows:

[AIRLINE NAME] | [USERNAME]

However, it is highly suggested that the following information is listed on the application:

Airline Headquarters/National Origin

Airline Description

Hubs:

Founding date:

A brief history:

A description of design elements/choices:

Any other information you feel is relevant. (The more content you have, the better)

When you joined AE

Any previous experience with AE alliances

Why you want to join Rise Alliance

What do you bring to Rise Alliance

Any additional relevant information (see rubric)

Any questions regarding your application or the alliance

Application Processing

When you submit your application, members will grade it based on the following rubric:

Please allow at least 4 days for the voting process to complete.

If you are accepted, you will receive an invite link to the Rise Alliance Discord server, member roster, alliance guidelines, and member forum password.

If denied, there is no cooldown period before you can re-apply. However, you are highly encouraged to review feedback and continue developing your brand. Please note that you may request to see your rubric scores for additional feedback.
