If real life was like Airline Empires...
...the airline industry would disappear and start over ever few months.
...passengers would get to fly for $1 on a 777 on a short-haul because the airline wanted to price dump for market share.
Let's hear what you think the airline industry would be like if it was like AE.

*You'd have to pay for a ticket to every single hop, even if it was to that airlines hub.
*Every town within 2000 miles would be directly connected to your airport via several different airlines, even if your airport is small.
*Every Beech you fly on would be exactly 5 years old, while every other plane would be brand new.
*If tickets were too expensive for you, all you have to do is wait a couple months for someone to drop a high frequency Q400 (or A330) and drastically lower prices.

Passengers would actually fly in a B1900 on 1,300 mile legs.
A B747 or A380 can land at any airport regardless of runway size or terminal ammenities.

- CEO's would be slapping each other and waiting in line at 3am to get tomorrow's gates
- Airbus and Bombardier would have so many orders they'd open a factory at Timbuktu
- You'd suddenly see this magical 40-gate terminal appear at an airport even though it clearly does not have space for such a structure

- So many terminals would be built within one airport.
- Some terminals serves one airline, while the others are full of people riding on Q400s or Saabs.
- There are gates at the airport only, no counter, no security check.........they could look like bus stops.
- Aircrafts are totally safe.
- It takes the same time for an A380 and a Beech to be built. Aircrafts would be built faster depends on orders.
- There are no classes within the cabin.
- Airlines serves one-way only when it is a long-haul flight.
- CEOs could be at home, cafe or everywhere else with internet access.
- gates are infinitively available.

1: We'd be a bunch of billionaires
2: WAA would be even more annoying
3: The LF Bug would cause a few hundred people to automatically dissappear midflight on long hauls or the plane would get a few hundred pax from thin air but op costs sudden spike by 100k as they begin to serve meals made on diamond plates...then you reset the route and fire the stupid catering company for charging extra for those plates...
4: ANA would be beating the crap outta JAL right now.
5: There would be almost no domestic flights from NRT, and almost no international fights from HND.
6: I wouldn't be yelled at by my parents for constantly playing this game instead of doing school work.
7: And there would be tri-jets available on the used market.
