While playing Ae, I saw that it went straight to the 1st day after the 25th. Why does a month of Ae end on the 25th without 30 days?

because thats how months are in real life

The months are actually 24 days, not 25. The reason for this is because it aligns the in-game time correctly with real world time so for most worlds, exactly 3 or 4 in-game months pass every real-world day.

It ended after 24 days. To be fair, they could probably make it work with 30 days cycle since it works with 15m, 20m, and 30m worlds.

I always figured it was easier to code for the timeframes. Looks like I was more or less right. Threw me off my first game too. Sitting there doing calculations for accurate months and suddenly it's the 1st.
