In AirwaySim, another airline game there is an option which allows you to choose 2 options for starting your airline.

Easy Start: You pick the continent and if the airline will fly short or medium flights then it show you some airports for your home base with 2 to 3 aircraft.

3 smaller aircraft (after the first day on the game has passed) and 2 smaller aircraft (on the first day of the game) 2 medium aircraft or 1 medium aircraft (on the games that start in the 1950s such as The age of flight and History and the future) Then after selecting the home base of the airline you choose the airline name and the airline codes. Then after that the airline will create routes hire staff add the checks.

In airline empires you have to create the airline by scratch and choose your home airport.

New players would need a easier start than creating it from scratch.

At the page of creating your airline they would be 2 options.

Option 1, the player creates the airline from ready airlines with 2 aircraft.

The airports in the easy start are,

The new Hong Kong airport

San Francisco

Los Angeles

New York JFK

London Heathrow

Paris CDG

Singapore Changi

Beijing Capital

Tokyo Haneda

Osaka Kansai

Taipei Taoyuan

Tel Aviv Ben Gurion

Seattle TACOMA

Brasilia International Airport

Chicago O Hare

Shanghai Pudong

Cape Town

Madrid Barajas

Barcelona El Prat

London Gatwick

Paris Orly

Istanbul (the old one since airline empires doesn't have the new Istanbul airport)

Option 2, the only option of creating a new airline of creating it from scratch with just 1 aircraft.

Each airport has 2 medium aircraft (such has the 737 etc) and 3 small aircraft (such as a ATR aircraft etc)

After selecting and clicking on okay, the player starts with 15,000,000 cash and create some routes.

Personally, I really like the current way to start, because its so much fun to just completely customize my airline and get it up and running. Although for new players, I understand why this might be a better option.

Current system is perfectly fine. There is many tutorials on how to play regularly.

The current method of starting is fine for new players. There are plenty of resources to learn how to play, as well as many other long-time players.
