Gate Limit in Terminal

I've got a 200 gate terminal currently built in ADD, apparently this is the limit for number of gates that can be constructed. I am fully utilizing all gates. Is this an airport specific limit or is this an in game limit?

Yes. That is the limit for the game. I had an airline that used up 100% of gates at about 4 unique airports.
