I dont typically make these kinds of posts so I apologize if this is the wrong forum buuuuutt...

Old news or not, British Airways has announced a big order of the Boeing 777-9 which they say will be replacing their aging 747 fleet. The 777-9 upon delivery and entrance into the commercial market, will be the single most fuel efficient airliner on the planet. I'm eager to see how this plane will look once the paint has dried.

I should say, it's real exciting.  Both to see British Airways chasing increased fuel efficiency, as well as chasing the newest planes.  However, it will be sad to no longer see the British Airways tail design on the massive tail of the 747.  Sadly, the iconic 747's days are numbered, as they're resigned to Europe, Asia and the world of cargo.  But still, nice to see what BA will make of the new planes.

Also, Zacca, maybe the community has died.  Maybe it hasn't.  Who knows?  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
