Let's say you have 5 707's being delivered on week 1-10, once every 2 weeks, and 5 727's being delivered on weeks 10-20, once every 2 weeks. If you defer the 707 orders 3 weeks or before the first one is delivered by 5 weeks, the 727's should be moved into the 707s' slot, as the 707's didn't start production yet. If this is going to be added, add a buffer on top of the production time, though.

The 707s and 727s are in completely different families, you should be able to order them at the same time without them interfering with each others delivery time.

I am using them as an example, say A319 and A321.
