Just warning you, if you put a second airline of yours on that route, you'll be against game rules, and you are already in a grey area. Keep an eye on things. But keep it up. Maybe try a realistic airline at some point

these kinds of spamlines do not affect any other airlines, other than the ones going for gold trophies. yet people seem to constantly think they do, just because they are spamlines in general. pretty funny, innit?

He's exploiting something of a loophole in the way demand and passenger loads are calculated by the system.
It's not illegal, just frowned upon.
Exploit is strictly forbidden in this game so..... yeah he broke the game rules.

Well if you can fill unlimited green pax seats with 1$ fare there's obviously something wrong. This is a bug in the game, and it needs to be fixed.
It's not unlimited pax with $1 seats. There is a way to approximate demand if you have any ability at simple math.

I'm sorry, but steve is right. There has never been a ban for flooding the routes. I've done it in unlimited airline worlds (not extreme flooding but, 14x,7x,etc) routing on different airlines, with no negative effects.

if you're going thousands of passengers above the demand and still filling green seats there's clearly a problem. You're essentially pulling passengers out of thin air by charging $1. There are plenty of anomalies from the real world that one could call "bugs" whose exploitation is inappropriate. Have you noticed, for example:
-The difference between default prices for a 5,999mi route and a 6,000mi route? Or 299mi and 300mi? 1499mi and 1500mi?
-That the 777-300ER has worse fuel consumption/pax than earlier 777's, despite the fact that IRL the 77W is the best 777 on fuel by far?
-That the A320 has a higher turnaround time than 737-800/400 despite same pax count and a real-world smaller size and lower max fuel capacity?
-That O&D demand from individual airports is based on airport traffic rather than catchment area trip demand?
-That PDEW demand between secondary cities far exceeds IRL demand, especially for longhaul, while demand between primary cities far underestimates IRL demand?
...I could go on but I think the point is clear: this game DOES NOT APPROXIMATE REAL LIFE AIRLINES. You can coddle yourself into believing you're being pure and realistic but announcing that belief to others should subject you to derision.

That doesn't mean we can't try and get close to making AE and airlines we make on it a closer approximation of real life. Honestly your argument is a defeatist one. "Stupid Italian painters, there's no way a painting can ever look like real life" - Some guy at the start of the Renaissance.
Also are you the "best", because I seen guys with way more trophies (trophies being defined as the closest thing to a win scenario that a simulation game like AE has) than you.

This is language that any enthusiast knows. Go on A.net (yes there are professionals there but many are just enthusiasts) and you can see that clearly. O&D means origin and destination demand, and PDEW is pax. daily each way. O&D refers to the demand that is there only between two airports (like for flights between LON and NYC there isn't quite as much O&D as there is demand for connecting flights from secondary cities that don't have direct flights to NYC, like MAN, NCE, ect.) and PDEW is exactly what the name suggests.

Has anyone tried loading a route page with 15000 competitor routes (and switch to the "Competition" tab) on a mobile device?
Obviously there is a bug in the calculation of airport congestion penalty.
There may be a bug in the maintenance cost of terminals as they are way too low compared to rented gates.
With all Y seat configuration, I bet he's also exploiting the negative total pax bug.
And as most of you already know, there is a bug in IFS; but you can't tell if he's using a normal scam IFS, or if he's using a bug exploiting IFS by just looking at the airline.

If possible, please give me one. I'm 95705. I tried to play your trick by building terminals and hubs on both side and use trash IFS/IFE in Takeya Mediterreanean(S3-b）, it doesn't work as well as yours did. I won't publish the secret of yours out or use it in my own airline, I'm just curious.

Thanks. I see how it worked. It's not as complicated as I had imagined, and preety cool. Despite it'll take forever to load anything.
I was opening new routes for my airline in R6 and guess what I found...
