Good idea, but I'd take R1 - longer days plus it has more manageable starter planes. But all in all a great idea.

Is to fly anywhere you want from anywhere you want. So how would that interfere? The Starter planes in R0 are pretty difficult to use, so you have to spend tons of $$ to get rid of them.

Yes
The point of the open world here is so one can do a PanAm, for example, instead of having to open more and more subsidiaries.

yes I get it but still, since they're run by spamlines anyhow, they might as well be geared towards airlines.

Basically take R0 and make it an open world, because I wanna get my proper Pan Am or BOAC on and 1950 or 1955 seem like much more appropriate start dates for those airlines.
This is getting quite stupid. No.

Spamliner breeding ground...
If you don't know how to coexist and even thrive with spamlines around quite frankly you suck at the game

Spam lines would ruin this. They would make it hard for new airlines because they using every single gate of every major airport in the EU.
OFC and is irreal, Is sad to start a airline and found all top pax destinations have no gates.

I warned those who wanted to recreate Pan Am or BOAC in that open world. They are going to be obliterated
