I've noticed on more than a few routes there is no image available for the little start & end map when you first look up the route. Usually its a low traffic route - I've never seen competition on it - or at least one airport is very obscure. Am I right in thinking this is because no one, or very few people, have ever flown the given route? I haven't run the same airlines consistently enough to say whether a route that didn't have a map gained one after regular use.

Me too! The demand is 0. Remember, there are millions of possible routes, and AE couldn't make a demand for each one!

Oh no I understand about 0 demand, but I'm curious about the generation of the map image with "start" and "end" pins on the open new routes search result.

As I began playing AE all routes had a little route map.. well this was lost somewhere at the end of 2016.. thought of google maps problems maybe
